EHC Expands to Slovakia – New Manufacturing Operation

EHC continues to successfully expand its global operations. The company recently announced the establishment of a new manufacturing facility in Stupava Slovakia. EHC Slovakia s.r.o. employees began producing their first escalator handrails earlier this year and are now in full production. All the manufacturing processes were audited by SGIS in September and EHC Slovakia s.r.o. is now ISO:901:2000 certified.

EHC's growth has been calculated and carefully planned; the company prides itself on being able to quickly adapt to the shifting market needs around the world. "Slovakia was an ideal choice for EHC. The escalator manufacturers are looking to Eastern Europe for their manufacturing operations so it made sense for EHC to be there for them," said Norman Rosnersky, Managing Director for EHC's Central Region operations. "We are thrilled at the great job our operations team has done setting up a new facility in such a short period of time and so are our customers".

In addition to the manufacturing facilities in Germany and Slovakia, EHC services the entire European and Middle Eastern market through its licensees and distributors in the UK, Italy, France, Scandinavia and Turkey. The EHC group of companies and their partners supply elevator and escalator rollers, escalator safety brushes, escalator handrails and handrail splicing services.
