EHC SIGNS EXCLUSIVE 3-YEAR AGREEMENT TO SUPPLY PARIS UNDERGROUND ESCALATOR HANDRAILS
September 8, 2003 - BAESWEILER, Germany

EHC has successfully won the bid for a long-term handrail supply agreement for the Paris Underground in France. With close to 900 escalators in the Paris Underground, this is one of the world's largest transit systems. This agreement strengthens EHC's market share in France, where ACM is a licensee of EHC and provides handrails and field splicing services. EHC's high quality standards and ability to supply NT2000 handrails were key in meeting the RATP's needs for the next three years.

"We are pleased to have exceeded RATP's expectations which resulted in them awarding the long-term contract to us over several other competitors," said Norman Rosnersky, EHC's Central Region Managing Director. 

EHC supplies escalator handrails, field splicing, escalator cleaning services and safety brushes to many of the worlds' largest transit systems.
